These tips will work great for most recipes ---
--- try it for yourself before preparing dishes for guests though ---
--- to be sure, to be sure!

Spray-Fry vs Deep Fry: when roasting potatoes, pumpkin, onions etc for ‘Sunday Lunch’, rather than sitting them in a pan of ‘fat’, simply spray the vegies with an Oil Spray - Canola, Vegetable or Olive Oil all work well. This trick works great with crumbed schnitzels etc too ;-)

"Say 'no' to Spare Tyres" ----->

Dressings:
Use a ‘Fat-Free’ version, balsamic vinegar, or Spritzer dressings.


Avocado: In Guacamole, try using canned Green Peas, 50-50 with Avocado..... it tastes just as yummy, with much less fat.

Butter, Oil or Margarine: Reduce the amount in recipes by 1/3 - 1/2, or substitute with applesauce in sweet baked goods.

Cheese: Select Low Fat varieties and slice with a potato peeler for ‘melts’  and use grated parmesan in ‘cheese-flavoured’ dishes - more flavour with less cheese, fat & calories ;-)
If you’re Lactose Intolerant, try LACTEEZE Lactase Enzyme Tablets.

Coconut milk: Substitute Evaporated Skim Milk (Skinny Tinny) with some Coconut Essence.

Milk: Use reduced-fat or skim milk. If you’re Lactose Intolerant, try LACTEEZE Lactase Enzyme Drops - “It’s changed my life - no more sore bloated tummy, yay”- Vicki Hadfield

Cream: Substitute with Evaporated Skim Milk (Skinny Tinny) or sometimes plain yoghurt works well.

Eggs: Use two egg whites (or 2 tblspn Egg Albumen Powder & 1/3 cup water) for every whole egg.
NB: unless the yolk is crucial to the recipe!
